WVAF commenced Day 1 of its annual review meeting on May 30, 2024, with a heartfelt welcome from Executive Director Nava Raj Adhikari and Deputy Executive Director Upendra Man Shakya. The day was highlighted by inspiring presentations showcasing the remarkable progress of ongoing projects organised by JHF, ACSG, WVAF, DIRDC, HEAL Nepal, Maitri Griha and Micro Projects Nepal.
Day 2 began with a thoughtful reflection on the events of Day 1, setting the stage for a day of reflection and learning. WVAF's IT Officer, Prajolita Bista, delivered an informative presentation on IT and Social Media Marketing, providing valuable insights into leveraging technology for social impact. The session continued with inspiring presentations from HEAL Nepal and Maitri Griha, highlighting the significant progress made in their ongoing projects.
Mr. Yagya Bikram Shahi contributed to the session with a concise overview of Participatory Evaluation Observations, adding depth to the discussion. Further enriching the meeting, Mr. Karma Maharjan, WVAF's Finance Manager, was thoroughly oriented about Financial Reporting, sharing invaluable observations and insights. The latter part of the day was dedicated to strategic discussions and planning for the upcoming year's project proposals, fostering collaboration and forward-thinking among participants.
To wrap up the day on a pleasant note, an informal gathering provided a perfect opportunity for attendees to unwind and network, fostering solidarity beyond the limits of the review meeting.
